I really enjoyed my stay in Louvre hostel in Paris. It's a great place to meet other travelers. Friendly and fun atmosphere. Like the description says, it is only for those who "are not too precious" . WiFi and lockers are both unfortunately payed for, but it's really not a problem. Plus, they're both pretty cheap if you need it.

You are paying solely for location, which is explained on the website. BVJ hostel  sent email after you book. I was happy to pay for location. Breakfast was decent.

Great location, the hostel BVJ in PARIS sent an email advising how basic the hostel was pre booking which was helpful. I would stay here again. My rating is give on the different aspects across the facilities provided. I would stay here again and encourage others. Just be aware of the basic nature of the BVJ LOUVRE hostel in PARIS. Location cannot be beaten 😀

Great location, close to most areas and to the subway. The room was spacey with a sink and mirror. There was only one power outlet in a room for 8 and the wifi was rarely working. All together I would totally recommend it!!

Très bonne situation et personnel sympathique dans l'auberge de Jeunesse BVJ LOUVRE à Paris. Les chambres sont grandes et lumineuses. Très bon petit déjeuner.

The BVJ LOUVRE HOSTEL in PARIS was so great! It's very Parisian, super authentic (it's still got that traditional, grand European style), and the staff were great. When I walked in I thought I must be in the wrong place because it was so nice! If you're going to stay in Paris, stay here. No more expensive than other Paris hostels, either. Oh, and the location is GREAT! It's right around tons of stuff you'll want to do and there is lots of walking/exploring that can be easily done because of its central location.

Exactly what you pay for ! Bed was clean and comfy. There were two sinks in the room. Would be convenient if there was soap but I understand that they do not advertise themselves like that. Absolutely great location in PARIS. Has quiet hours after 10. Was not hot in the room but the night had chilly temperatures (16-18 c)

The staff in BVJ PARIS HOSTELS are absolutely wonderful. I staid here for 10 days and enjoyed the location, atmosphere and staff very much. They are kind, helpful and friendly. I will definitely be staying here if I come back to Paris.

Exactly as advertised and I was quite happy. Literally 5 min walk from the louvre, with several good cafes just around the corner. No free WiFi, but if you get the code from the cafe the signal reaches to the main BVJ PARIS Hostel door. The staff were nice and helpful, most times remembering my face and passing my key before I even asked. If you just need a bed and shower in Paris, this place is perfect. Not great for socializing, but good for the utilitarian traveler.

A lot of thanks to staff, specially for the reception, for his help and professionality ! There is clean rooms with 2-stage beds, free delicious breakfast, shower, WiFi 2€/24 hours. We want to return here! Best wishes from Russia, Kazan!

Many compliments: Great location. Great service. Great people. It was noisy though: It was very loud on 2 of the nights there, especially around 4 and 5am, it sounded like someone was cleaning which made it difficult to sleep. Bathrooms: are very small. As I am tall it was hard to close the door. They also didn't have toilet paper for a few hours and were dirty quickly. No free wifi isn't really good enough or today's day and age though I don't think.

BVJ LOUVRE hostel is pretty close to the Louvre museum, just 5 minutes and to the station as well. It's totally okay for staying for 1, 2 or 3 nights. Rooms are okay and bathrooms as well, little bit small, but we could hold it :)...perfect value for money and with breakfast! Just one thing, that you have to buy wifi for 2 euros per 24 hours.

Good basic hostel in Paris at a perfect spot. Only thing is that they can clean the shower and toilet a bit more often. Very friendly staff.

Great location and comfortable beds in BVJ LOUVRE HOSTEL in PARIS. A shame that the wifi costs, as one of the most expensive hostels I stayed in around Europe you'd expect to get that for free. Good basic hostel and you get exactly what you need. Great breakfast too.

Nice location. Basic facilities, worth the money. Clean room and blanket. If you are carrying a lot of luggage should think about it because there's no lift.
