Great staff. Cheap, value for money. The pretty french chick at the counter.  

Great location. Easy to walk to the metro, Louvre, Notre Dame and much more. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A little noisy in the street early in the morning, and only one power outlet in the room. Overall a great cheap hostel in the heart of Paris  

Very basic hostel in PARIS but fine for a few nights. My party of 3 really enjoyed our stay there. Easy to get to, and great location for attractions - managed to walk to Eiffel Tower. Staff were great, really enjoyed our stay there.  

Perfect location - Nice old building - Good value for money for central Paris - Open 24 h...  

Very nice and helpful staff happy to help with anything, nice atmosphere and pleasant stay in Paris...  

The hostel is very basic but the price and location make up for what is missing. the reception is open 24/7 which is good and the staff are helpful. The breakfast is basic but it's great as it saves you money...  

Se leen reseñas muy malas acerca del hotel y puede que sí sean cierto lo del olor en los pasillos y el wifi, sin embargo para la ubicación, pars dormir y para tener desayuno me pareció muy bueno el precio. Si tienes más dinero consigue otro y si sos descomplicado pues este sitio es rebien. Lo que sí me parece fatal es que no reciban tarjeta de crédito y a lo mejor un wifi gratis no les cuesta mucho!!!  

Decent place to stay. Nice location. Good breakfast in the morning. The whole room key situation was odd and a bit frustrating. My travel partner didn't enjoy it as much and said she felt like it was dirtier. I enjoyed it all the same. It provided the accommodations I needed. They didn't have enough outlets, and the wifi was weak even when you paid for it so that sucked.  

A localização, o atendimento e o preço, nessa ordem, são os fatores que me faz recomendar e com certeza utilizar novamente o hostel

El lugar esta bastante bien solo para dormir!! La verdad esta muy centrico cerca de todo, asi que lo mejor es pasarla afuera todo el día.  

Nice stay in BVJ LOUVRE HOSTEL, friendly staff. Don't expect too much but fantastic for two students on a budget, breakfast included but very simple which is fine for us but others may not be as satisfied. Overall suitable for a younger crowd who are not expecting to spend hours on end in a fancy hotel but just need somewhere to sleep and shower etc.  

Tout était comme annoncé par l'auberge. Pas un palace 5 étoile, mais bien une authentique Auberge de Jeunesse simple et basique avec juste le stricte nécessaire pour une nuit à Paris : une situation magique, un lit, un petit-déj + une bonne douche. La fille à la réception était troooop sympa et serviable. Avec le petit-dej et un plan de Paris offerts, pour le prix payé dans le 1er arrondissement de Paris on peut pas se plaindre. Juste merci pour tout!

Against the nitpickers : The BVJ is actually pretty good as far as youth hostels go. The accommodations are basic, as they say on their website. They are also decently clean... The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They ALL speak very good English, they smile, they are understanding. There were quite a few groups there, so the noise level rose easily, but as soon as we mentioned it to the employee on night duty, he made them quiet down immediately. The breakfast is not meager, as some reviews say. It is your typical European breakfast, plus some American touches, like cereal and yogurt. There was plenty of coffee, tea, bread, butter, jam and juice, three or four types of cereal, cold milk and hot milk, pastries -- better than the average continental breakfast in some American hotels. We had to leave our bags on our arrival and before departing, and they locked them up in a room for us. There was no problem with the wi-fi (it costs 2 euros) or the lunch tickets. Overall, I'd say if you are realistic, you will understand that for the money, it is a good deal. If you want luxury, go to a hotel. If you want a decent place without forking out a bunch of cash, BVJ Louvre is a good option.

L' Auberge est super bien située, à 2 pas du Musée du Louvre et de la rue de Rivoli. Les réceptionnistes sont super attentifs ! Le petit-déj est top et gratuit. Le wi-fi est payant et limité au lobby. Mais sincèrement quand on vient à Paris, y en a partout et gratuit (jardins, musées, bar, cafés, restau...) Je recommande pour les vrais voyageurs ayant un peu d'expérience. Avec le petit dej offert, le rapport prix/situation est imbattable.

This is bare bones hostel in Paris. You get a bed, linens, access to a toilet and access to a push button shower. Breakfast was fine ... The location is great! It is somewhat clean. The internet is available for an extra fee and only in the lobby... This place is very honest about how sparse it is so take it at its word!

Very cosy hostel in Paris. Not so fresh maybe, not so modern, but it works. There's free breakfast in the morning, it was completely fine. The atmosphear felt very Paris, so it was exciting! Our view from our room was amazing. There are maaaany stairs so be prepared, haha. The staff was supernice! They don't take card though!  

Yes, the location is great. The staff were friendly and it's nice to get breakfast in the morning. Shower pressure was very good though....  

As advertised, a budget hostel in Paris city center - you're really only paying for the prime location... with breakfast and there's a supermarket (with a microwave) 2 min walk away  

Super cheap and great location! So you get what you pay for!  

It's a good place, the location is really nice, the breakfast is OK and the staffs are helpful and so polite.
