The room was clean and so were the shower and toilet facilities. The receptionist was very helpful when we checked in and gave us a great room. It's an amazing location and value for money. The breakfast was ok too.

This is one of the best hostels I stayed at in Europe. Sure it is not fancy but that is clearly stated on the listing and the email confirmation. There is no elevator but that was fine with me. I thought it was a great value for the money. It's a very charming old building and the room I stayed in was very cozy. Clean sheets and towels as you need them and the breakfast was excellent! I have not had a better breakfast in any of the hostels I stayed in across Europe. The location is great too!

Great location. Very simple accommodations reminded me of my dorm room there were no lockers in the room and you had one key which meant the door was left unlocked a lot. The place is old but kept up well. Would just make sure you have shower shoes and are prepared for push Botton showers. The breakfast is basic and dose the trick but make sure you always have your card or you will be climbing up and down the stairs all the time.

The hostel was nice enough, with the staff (...) being very friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to a smaller room free of charge, and with three people using smartphones it wasn't ideal to have just one plug socket but next time we'll come prepared! The location was amazing, right near everything we wanted to see, easy walking distance to the metro and train station. Facilities were clean though water pressure was low and the showers weren't hot enough for my liking.Would recommend

This place is in a great location, the rooms were also very nice and situated around a common area making it inviting to meet people. This is surely where I'd stay if going to Paris again.

Es genial, aunque sólo lo use para ir a dormir, literal jajajaja llraba a las 5 am y todo súper bien, amables y la gente que lleva ahibes súper buen rollo, un buen lugar para hospedarse, y sobre todo céntrico de ahí caminas a todos lados.

I Loved my stay in BVJ Louvre. It was all that was advertised: a nice bed, a nice breakfast and a excellent location (5 min walk to Louvre). The staff here really nice, especially Lucas that was always available to answer any question and so one. The ckeck-out although really early they let you leave your bags in the front desk, and there is always a person there. Negative only one plug in the room, but u can leave your phone to charge ate the front desk, so is not a true negative.

Location is perfect. Hostel is clean. Breakfast is really good. Staff is friendly. Check out at 9:30 is way too early. And you havr to pay to use the internet wich only works in the lobby

Really great Staff, free breakfast was great and you couldn't have asked for a better location! The showers were annoying as you had to keep your hands on there in order to have water running. But overall I would stay here again.

Great deal for your money. I stayed for 5 days. Beds gave me back pain & I found hairs on my sheets when I arrived. Bathrooms were reasonably clean. Locker situation difficult, but I had good roommates and decided to leave my things in locked room for the last few days. Breakfast was fresh bread, pretty good coffee, cereals, and canned fruit cocktail. 3 min walk to Louvre. They didn't have wifi during my stay, but restaurants across the street & Starbucks are nearby along Rue De Rivoli.

J'ai adoré cet endroit ! Le petit déjeuner compris était copieux, le bâtiment est superbe, et c'est situé dans un emplacement fantastique. Oui, c'est vrai, les chambres sont très simples, mais si vous avez l'intention de dormir et prendre le petit déjeuner à l'hostel, c'est la meilleure option. Le personnel était très sympathique et serviable. Je reviendrais certainement ici.

Amazing location, friendly and helpful staff (Lucas, you are the best!), a good selection at the free breakfast, and large, clean rooms. There is no wifi, as has been mentioned. The showers are small and operate via a timed button. The eight person female dorm faces the street and there's no AC, so if you visit during the summer expect street noise throughout the night, but all this is in the description. Over all, it was a great experience. I would definitely stay again.

Nice place to stay for a night, clean and great location. Staff were friendly and helpful, although the wifi (2€) wasn't working while we were there. Free breakfast was good. Overall good place to stay.

Very nice place, great staff, clean, close to the Louvre, to Marais... I trully saw myself in Paris, sleeping facing those beautiful big windows. The price is alright... It's as cheap as few others, but it doesn't provide a bunch of things (towels, lockers, soap). But it's such a good environment that I would recommend anyways!
