This hostel was in the best location to get around Paris. The staff was wonderful and helpful, they went above and beyond to answer any questions and give directions for walking. My only small complaint is the shower was a push botton shower which made it difficult to shower quickly. I understand it is to save water.

Top location. Great welcoming 24h available at The very center! Showers a bit old And little. Beds are enough And The other facilities toó for a little stay. No doubt a great value for The little money.

My stay was nice. i loved the key security and the option to purchase safe locks but felt it ought to be included. the bed was basic as was most everything. not too bad considering everything outside was sooo much more awesome. i would stay here again. but remember its not fancy - at all.

The hostel had a really tasty buffet breakfast in the morning included in the price which was brilliant...

Good place for the money, really good location, and th info they gave is accurate, read good before booking! recommended place to go on a low budget!

Have your expectation low so you don't get disappointed. This is a place where provide you a place to sleep, with excellent location in the city though. So if you're looking something like this, perfect! The amount of locker is limited even if you're willing to pay for the 2 euro fee.

Decent. Kind of speaks for itself. It's the basics definitely, but you can pay 2 euros to get wifi and at the free breakfast when i asked for a coffee i got given a BOWL of coffee. A bed, wifi, and a bowl of coffee? All in the centre of Paris????? What more could you want in BVJ !

Perfect experience. For an "old school" backpacker it's a 10/10. Bring some locks, and earplugs with you -just in case- and you'll be infinitely happy to be in such a good location for such a good price. (My trip: 1 night, 4 bed room, July, 25EUR). And make sure you read what actually is included! -e.g. there's no kitchen.

It is a nice play to stay for few days. They give you bare minimum facilities like bed and and a wash basin and you have to share bathrooms with others. Internet is available in Lobby only. I really love the staff there who is always there to help you. I really liked this guy who guided me on the places I can visit with personal experiences. Metros are very close to this hostel. The only problem is with security as there is only key per room and there is no specific locker except in Lobby.

The location was perfect. 2 mins walk to the Louvre museum and the metro station. There were a lot of restaurants and cafes around. Dorm was also good (...) Wifi has an extra cost (2 euros per day.) Breakfast was nice, there were cereals, cheese, jam etc... All in all, I am satisfied with my stay

Perfect position right in the middle of France and very good value. It would have been nice if the WiFi was free though.

Spacious, exceptionally welcoming staff and amazing location. Would recommend And happily stay there again. Shared room key and no lift were the only things that could have been an issue for some. Lockers available if needed at daily rate. Not a problem for us at all plus they have been clear on website before booking. Excellent stay.

Te dan lo que ofrecen, es un hostal básico, muy bien situado, el desayuno esta bien, los cuartos en general están limpios, las áreas comunes no siempre. El personal en general es muy amable, cualquier servicio adicional es cobrado. Las camas están bien. Recibes un mapa a la llegada.

It's exactly how they say it - very basic hostel. But they take very good care of it and the price for the location is unmatchable.

A double room here is not a double room, it's a twin room. The location is perfect, and it's clean, other than that it's simply just somewhere to sleep.

This place is only good for its location and kind staff. The breakfast is like a school cafeteria meal, the rooms are cold and uninviting, the common room is unsocial and has no atmosphere, showers are bad. But it's in the perfect location! For this alone I will stay again... at least now I know what I'm in for.

Localisation parfaite, staff aussi , pti djo bon ! , il y a un piano dans le lobby !!! C'est un super hostel pour parcourir la ville , faire la fête et juste rentrer dormir , parce qu'il faut payer pour le wifi et il n'y a qu'un branchement pour charger les téléphones. Dommage mais ça reste quand même un super lieu pour connaître Paris sans déplacer long temps en métro.

Perfect location (just blocks from the Louvre where there is also a metro station, easy walk to Champs Elysées and the Eiffel Tower) , great price, and very helpful staff! The only real drawback for me was the showers--you have to hold a button the whole time to keep water coming out and it is actually very difficult to shower with just one available hand. There is no kitchen or laundry facility. The free breakfast offers more than a typical French breakfast.
