Les Avis sur BVJ Louvre – PARIS 1er

This place is only good for its location and kind staff. The breakfast is like a school cafeteria meal, the rooms are cold and uninviting, the common room is unsocial and has no atmosphere, showers are bad. But it's in the perfect location! For this alone I will stay again... at least now I know what I'm in for.

Localisation parfaite, staff aussi , pti djo bon ! , il y a un piano dans le lobby !!! C'est un super hostel pour parcourir la ville , faire la fête et juste rentrer dormir , parce qu'il faut payer pour le wifi et il n'y a qu'un branchement pour charger les téléphones. Dommage mais ça reste quand même un super lieu pour connaître Paris sans déplacer long temps en métro.

Perfect location (just blocks from the Louvre where there is also a metro station, easy walk to Champs Elysées and the Eiffel Tower) , great price, and very helpful staff! The only real drawback for me was the showers--you have to hold a button the whole time to keep water coming out and it is actually very difficult to shower with just one available hand. There is no kitchen or laundry facility. The free breakfast offers more than a typical French breakfast.

The receptionist was good and friendly, once had a problem , he was able to solve it as quickly as possible , the rooms are tidy and clean. The location is a bit hard to go to. Other wise, recommended.

I stayed there just for 2 nights. As wanted just a place to sleep so it was o.k. I've booked the bed in 8beds Dorm, but they mooved me to the Double room. I was lucky!!! Really don't expect more than they told on line ! The big plus is the breakfast (everything what you can like and need) and location! Le Louvre is just 50 metres far. Minus- no elevator, no kitchen, and the shower is a little uncomfortable. But if you come to see Paris you're in a great place! Merci beaucoup!

The hostel is very close to the museum, like 10 mins away. Staff are very helpful, room and Bed sheets are clean And also the bathroom. The facilities are quite old but in good condition. If you're looking for a place just to sleep in the center of Paris, this is the best option. But if you're looking for a a place with newer facilities and bars and kitchen and all the comfort, you can pay as much as 3 times the price in the same location.

This place has just the basics : a bed, showers, and breakfast. I chose this hostel purely for the great location. If you just need a place this crash this is it. Probably one of the cheapest hostels in Paris.

Great location, 10 second walk to the Louvre Museum where MONA LISA original is kept... Dorms are spacious... Can't complain as you get what you pay for plus you gotta get out and explore Paris not the dorm !

This is what it's advertised as. The hostel is the very basics of a backpackers experience. It's not a comfortable stay, but it's not meant to be. With that said, we had a good night there and it was great for a last minute decision to spend a few days in Paris.

I loved this place! The free breakfast is huge, the building is gorgeous, and it's in a fantastic location. Yes, the facilities are super basic, but if you are only planning to sleep and eat breakfast at the hostel, this is your best option. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again

Great location, it makes possible to visit Paris on foot. Breakfest is ok. Some showers has low water pressure. There is no free wifi probably. I can recommend.

Tuve una muy buena estadía en el Hostal. Lo he estado recomendando a todos mis conocidos. Agradezco la excelente atención que tuve del todo el personal. La ubicación no puede ser mejor. Planeo volver a París y de todas maneras me quedaré de nuevo en le hostal.

Buen lugar pero eso de tener que pagar por el wifi (...) en general bien, buen desayuno. Aunque el dueño no piense lo mismo los detalles si importan no solo la locación.

Best place in Paris, Loving staff, breakfast was amazing...and have so many choice , owner was simply great and so down to earth, I love this place, close to every best location in Paris, the staff at the reception are always smiling and eager to help and guide from their personal experience of the city, whatever I write will be less in comparison what I feel for the place. Great be like this.
