The bunk rooms were really nice and clean, pretty clean bathrooms as well. Great value, plus you get a free breakfast! It's simple but perfect. Convenient location, only a 5 minute walk to the closest metro station. Receptionists were all nice, can speak English if necessary. And it's also fun to stay in a historical building too, the reception room looks really fancy for a youth hostel.

The staffs were really friendly and helpful. The Paris Hostel is super clean (bathrooms, rooms and common areas) and well organized. They have a nice garden we can rest and have a good time with the other guests. The breakfast was super tasty, loved it. I really recommend this hostel : BVJ OPERA-MONTMARTRE !

Awesome hostel in Paris, really pretty, clean, and friendly staff. The prices include breakfast which is satisfactory, showers are warm and clean, nice temperature even without AC with big windows. Would highly recommend this hostel to anyone who doesnt mind being the heart of Paris. It is a quick walk to moulin rouge and the basilica up on the hill, beautiful veiws.

We really enjoyed our stay at BVJ and have both said we could come back in a heart beat. The staff were really lovely and so helpful, we couldn't have asked for more helpful staff. We ended up extending our stay in Paris because we loved it so much. I would highly recommend staying.

It felt like a very safe place to stay. For the location it was incredibly good value. I'd definitely recommend walking up towards Montmartre to see the view. The receptionists are friendly and helpful and let us keep our bags in the luggage room on the day we arrived and the day we left. Each room has a key which has to be handed back to reception when the last person leaves. The breakfast was very good and the ladies nice but they are very quick at putting it away at 9.15. Would go back.

The Opera Hostel is so good, nice rooms... The garden is amazing for drink and eat something with friends and relax. The breakfast is amazing, a lot of foods and many kind and all you can eat, I loved this hostel and I advice for everyone, I hope come back someday

Great youth hostel in Paris at a great price. Check-in was easy, they have a luggage storage room and free breakfast, and the bathrooms were kept relatively clean. Keep in mind that bathrooms on each floor are shared and co-ed even when you're staying in a girls only dorm. The shower stalls are also small so don't bring your clothes in there or they will get wet. Only 5 minute walk from the metro 12 line, and like 10 minute walk from the heart of Montmartre neighborhood.

Beautiful building and great location for exploring Montmartre. Not much of an atmosphere, but still a fun place to stay in Paris due to location. Near metro lines, so there is flexibility as well.

Quite simple accommodation in Paris, just a bed in a room. The area could be a little noisy at night... Otherwise the place was comfortable and the staff helpful. Note that there are no lockers in the dorm. The breakfast in the morning was quite good, including fresh baguettes. The entrance to the building is beautiful and the location is quite convenient to walk or catch the subway to the main attractions of Paris. The location seemed to be family friendly as well.

I had a really great experience tho I doubt it’s typical. I paid for a bed in the 10 bed all female dorm last minute. Yet in the end there were only 2 ppl including me in the room. Plus there’s a door in the middle of the big room that sort of separates it into 2 small rooms. So essentially I had a room of 4 beds to my own. Naturally I had a lovely time...

Overall it’s a solid place to stay- you get a decent bed and breakfast (which saves a ton of money considering how expensive Paris is). However,  they have FREE WiFi available.

This hostel is charming on the outside, and in the lobby. The rooms are fine as well and beds are comfy. The downsides are the showers, you have to push a button every minute or so to keep water flowing (...)  breakfast is good and you can’t beat the location for price to be right smack in the middle of Paris city- lots of great bakeries and shops nearby. Charming place overall.
